Since 1903 The Nebraska Masonic Home, in Plattsmouth, has been taking care of Nebraska Masons, their wives, widows, mothers, sisters and daughters. The Homes admission criteria changed October 2006 which also allows admission of out-of-state Masons and their eligible female relatives.


The combination of a caring staff and clean, attractive facilities enables The Nebraska Masonic Home to offer the best in services and comfort for the residents. The importance of meeting the spiritual needs of the residents is given a very high priority. Weekly, non-denominational worship services are held every Sunday and Ministers from the Plattsmouth area conduct the services.


Mealtime is a special time for the residents at our Home. Residents are served delicious, well-balanced meals, in a friendly home-like atmosphere. Our beautiful dining room offers a relaxing environment in which residents can enjoy the nutritious, tasty food prepared and served by our dietary staff.


Spacious lounges are located throughout The Home, offering the perfect setting for conversation, reading, watching television, playing billiards or just watching the birds in the aviary. A craft room, an exercise room, three fenced-in courtyards, three beautiful sun rooms, a laundry room, three self-service elevators and a hair salon are available. A 13 passenger bus accommodating wheelchairs is used for resident outings.
