Complete 24 hour nursing care will be furnished in the Nursing Facility Care Center.
New admissions to the 24-Hour Nursing Facility Care Center will be placed on the Intermediate Care level for a period of two months. During this time, the resident will be evaluated by professional nurses, care givers, staff, and The Home's physician. A determination of the appropriate care level will be made at the end of the two-month period, and the resident will be placed at that level. Thereafter, each resident will be re-evaluated on a quarterly basis.
Fees for each level of care include The Home's physician and 24-hour nursing care. Medications prescribed by a physician will be billed to the resident on a monthly basis.
Should a resident choose to retain his/her own personal physician, the fees from this physician are the responsibility of the pay-basis resident. Hospitalization, X-rays, and ambulance charges not covered by Medicare are the responsibility of the pay-basis resident.
On the Regular Way financial plan, complete medical and personal needs of the resident who are admitted on the Regular Way plan are provided for by The Masonic Home. Payment for this complete care os the resident's total monthly income. The only family responsibility would be a telephone in the resident's room if they wish to have one.
